Terms
Draft. Have these checked before taking paying customers.
What we do
You forward us your train ticket emails. We check whether your train arrived late and, if you have authorised us, submit a Delay Repay claim to the train company in your name.
Your authority
By ticking the authorisation box you appoint Delay Pay as your agent to submit Delay Repay claims for tickets you forward, using your name, address and payment details, and to receive the train company's emails about those claims at your Delay Pay address. You can withdraw this at any time in your account. Claims already submitted will run to completion.
Our fee
We charge 20% of the compensation the train company agrees to pay on claims we submit. We charge the card you saved once the claim is approved. If a claim is turned down you pay nothing. Compensation is paid by the train company straight to you.
Your part
Only forward tickets for journeys you made. Tell us which train you caught when we ask. Don't claim separately for a journey we are claiming for you.
Your data
We store your ticket emails, contact details and payout details to make claims, and share them only with the train company you travelled with and our payment and email providers. Ask us to delete your data at any time.
If you tap "I'm on my train", we take your location once, at that moment, to work out which train you are on. We delete it as soon as the train is matched, and by the next day at the latest. We never track you in the background.
